Frequently Asked Questions

How far does this two-pack take a department that prints a few thousand black pages a month?

At 3,000 black pages a month, the pair's combined 66,000 pages cover close to two years of output; at 6,000 a month, roughly eleven months. That makes the two-pack a tidy way to lock in a long stretch of black printing with a single order instead of repeated small ones.

Is the second cartridge in the pack identical to the first, or a smaller refill?

Identical. Both cartridges in this pack are full 842279 units rated at 33,000 pages each — there is no reduced-capacity second cartridge. Whichever one you install first delivers the same yield and the same print quality.

The listing names the C4500 — are these cartridges made only for that model?

No. The title highlights one model, but both cartridges belong to the Ricoh IM C4500 and IM C6000 platform and fit every machine in that family. If your printer is part of that platform, this pack is the correct supply regardless of which model name appears in the listing.

Where should the spare cartridge be stored while the first one is in use?

Keep it sealed in its box in a cool, dry spot away from direct sunlight and heat sources — an office supply cabinet is ideal. Stored that way, a toner cartridge stays ready for many months, so there is no rush to install the second one.

What does the per-cartridge price work out to compared with buying singles?

Each cartridge in the pair costs $73.22, against $82.46 for a single — a total saving of $18.49 across the pack. That drops the cost of a black page to roughly 0.22¢, and the saving grows if your office would otherwise pay separate shipping on repeat single orders.

Are both cartridges covered if one fails months after we buy the pack?

Yes. Every cartridge we sell carries a one-year warranty and one-year free returns, and that protection applies to each unit in the pack individually — details are at Shipping & Returns. If one underperforms, reach out Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, and we will sort it out.
