Also fits: this cartridge fits the Ricoh Aficio MP C305SP and MP C305SPF — the same machines also sold under the Savin and Lanier brands with the same model names.

Frequently Asked Questions

Our logo is red — why does it print dull orange even though magenta still shows toner left?

Magenta carries your reds, pinks and warm skin tones, and it fades gradually rather than stopping cleanly — the last stretch of the cartridge lays down less pigment, so brand colors drift orange and washed-out while text still looks fine. If logos and letterheads are the work that matters most in your office, treat a color shift as the real end of this cartridge's useful life, even if the counter has not reached zero.

Why does this color cartridge cost so much more per page than the black?

Honest answer: color toner on this platform is simply pricier per page. The black cartridge yields 12,000 pages for $48.39 (about 0.40¢ a page), while this magenta yields 4,000 pages for $46.97 — roughly 1.17¢ a page, nearly three times as much. Dense color pages such as full-bleed flyers will not see the full 4,000 pages either, since the rating assumes light 5% coverage. Budget color work with that math in mind instead of expecting black-cartridge economics.

Does making color copies use this cartridge, or only printing from a computer?

Both. Every color copy, color print and color fax your MP C305SPF produces lays down magenta, while scanning to email and black-only work touch nothing in this cartridge. Offices that use the machine as their main color copier go through colors noticeably faster than print-only users with the same page counts.

Is this the right magenta for my machine?

This is the 841592 magenta cartridge, built for Ricoh MP C305SPF — if your machine belongs to that platform, it is the correct magenta regardless of which model name is printed on the front panel. The listing highlights a single model, but the cartridge itself serves the whole platform; if your model is something else entirely, contact us before ordering and we will confirm the right cartridge first.

A long job stopped because magenta ran dry — can I finish it in black and white?

Yes. Switch the job to grayscale or monochrome in the driver and the MP C305SPF will keep working from the black cartridge alone — contracts, emails and drafts lose nothing. Only pages that genuinely need color have to wait for the replacement, so one empty color rarely has to idle the whole office.

If this cartridge fails halfway through its life, what happens?

Every cartridge we sell is covered for a full year, and returns are free for a full year as well. If magenta starts streaking, leaking or laying down weak color well before its rating, reach out and we will replace it or refund you — you are not stuck nursing a bad cartridge to the end. The full terms live on our shipping & returns page, and support answers Mon–Fri, 9 AM–5 PM CST.
