Frequently Asked Questions

Who is a three-pack of black toner actually the right size for?

It suits offices that plan supplies quarterly rather than order by order — a single purchase covers a rated 84,000 black pages, which for many departments is a full quarter or more of output. Facilities teams managing several MP C4502 or MP C5502 machines also like it because one order restocks the whole fleet. If your volume is light, a smaller pack is the more sensible buy.

How does the per-cartridge price step down in this pack?

At $129.54 for three, you pay $43.18 per cartridge, compared with $55.50 for a single — a total saving of $36.96 against three separate purchases. That pushes the already low per-page cost of roughly 0.20 cents down further still. The discount comes purely from the pack size; the cartridges themselves are identical to the single.

Are all three cartridges the same unit my machine takes?

Yes. This platform uses one black cartridge design across both models, listed here by its code, 841647, and all three units in the pack are that same cartridge. The compatible machines are Ricoh Aficio MP C4502 and MP C5502 — any unit from this pack can go into any of those machines, in any order.

How should we rotate three cartridges so none sits too long?

Simple first-in, first-out works: store the pack where you will naturally reach for the oldest box first, and keep the cartridges sealed and flat in a cool, dry cabinet. Toner does not spoil quickly, but avoiding heat and sunlight keeps it in best condition. Marking the delivery date on the outer box helps whoever restocks next.

Does buying in bulk change delivery in any way?

The pack ships as one order from whichever of our warehouses — Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia or California — is closest to you. One shipment means one tracking number and one delivery to receive, which most offices find simpler than three separate single-cartridge orders arriving at different times.

What coverage comes with a bulk purchase like this?

The same as everything we sell: a one-year warranty on every cartridge in the pack and free returns for a full year, as described on our shipping and returns page. Coverage applies per cartridge, so a problem with one unit never affects the others. Questions are handled by our support team Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
