Frequently Asked Questions

Why would we order two black cartridges when the machine only holds one?

Because the day a 20,000-page cartridge finally runs dry is never a convenient one. With this two-pack you install one cartridge (rated 20,000 pages) and shelve the second as an instant spare, so a mid-job empty never turns into a rush order or a stalled copier. Together the pair covers up to 40,000 black pages before you need to think about toner again.

What do we save compared with buying two singles?

Two single cartridges would cost $132.36; this pack is $113.87, so you keep $18.49 and the per-cartridge price drops to $56.94. That brings the running cost down to roughly 0.28 cents per black page at standard coverage — the same cartridge, just bought the smarter way.

Does the spare cartridge go stale sitting on our shelf?

No — sealed toner cartridges store well for a long time in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep the second cartridge in its box until the day you need it, and it will print like the first one. Offices that rotate stock oldest-first never run into age problems with packs like this.

Is this the right black cartridge for our machine?

Yes, if your machine is on the Ricoh Aficio MP C3002 and MP C3502 platform — the Aficio MP C3002 / C3502 family. One cartridge design serves the whole platform, and this listing is named by the family cartridge number, 8412 (841276). If your current black cartridge is marked 841276, this two-pack is its direct match.

What if one of the two cartridges turns out to be defective?

Each cartridge is covered individually by our 1-year warranty, so a problem with one does not affect the other — we will replace or refund the faulty unit on its own. Returns stay free for a full year; details are on the shipping & returns page. Just reach out Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM CST and we will sort it out.

Can we split the pack between two machines in different departments?

Absolutely — the two cartridges are individually boxed, so nothing stops you from putting one in each of two machines on the same platform. Many offices buy the pack for the discount and then distribute the cartridges wherever the need shows up first.
