Frequently Asked Questions

Why is a spare cartridge close to mandatory on a T654?

High-volume printers do not run out of toner at quiet moments — they run out mid-queue, with a department's work behind them. This 2-pack keeps a second T650H11A sealed and ready next to the machine, so the change is a two-minute job instead of an emergency order and a stalled T654 while everyone waits.

What does the pair save over two single purchases?

The pack costs $320.91 against $339.38 for two singles, saving $18.47. That is $160.46 per cartridge, and it pulls your toner cost down to about 0.64 cents per page across the pack's combined capacity of up to 50,000 pages.

How long does 50,000 pages last at T654 volumes?

At 10,000 pages a month — realistic for this model — around five months. At 6,000 a month, roughly eight months. In practice the pattern is simple: install one now, hold one in reserve, and reorder when the reserve goes in, so the supply chain runs one full cartridge ahead of demand.

Is the spare limited to the T654 it was bought for?

No. Although this listing is written around the T654, the T650H11A fits the entire T650 platform — T650, T650n, T650dn, T650dtn, T652, T652n, T652dn, T652dtn, T654, T654n, T654dn, T654dtn, T656dne, TS654dn and TS656dne. The reserve cartridge can rescue any of those machines if one of them empties first, which makes the pack a flexible pool rather than a single-printer bet.

Any special handling for the waiting cartridge?

Just ordinary care: keep it in its sealed bag, flat, in a cool dry place out of direct sunlight. Toner cartridges tolerate storage well, so the spare will be ready whenever the first cartridge gives out — weeks or many months from now. Avoid opening it early "to check"; the seal is what keeps it fresh.

What if I need to send one back?

Returns are free for a full year, and both cartridges carry a one-year warranty — the process is described on our shipping & returns page. For anything else, support answers Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, and orders ship from warehouses in IL, PA, GA, and CA when speed matters.
