Frequently Asked Questions

On the fastest model in the family, how often will I change this cartridge?

The T654 sits at the top of the platform's speed range, and machines like it usually run the highest page counts too. The cartridge still holds the same 25,000-page rating — at 8,000 pages a month, expect a change about every three months; at 12,000 a month, closer to every two. Speed changes how fast you reach 25,000 pages, not the rating itself.

Why does per-page cost matter most on a T654?

Because small numbers multiply. At $169.69 for up to 25,000 pages, this T650H11A runs about 0.68 cents per page — and on a printer producing 100,000 pages a year, even a cent of difference per page is a thousand dollars. High-volume machines are exactly where high-yield cartridges earn their keep.

The listing names the T654 — does the cartridge fit anything else?

It does. The T650H11A is the shared high-yield cartridge for the whole T650 platform, and this page simply features the T654. The same cartridge also fits T650, T650n, T650dn, T650dtn, T652, T652n, T652dn, T652dtn, T654, T654n, T654dn, T654dtn, T656dne, TS654dn and TS656dne, so it can serve as common stock if your office runs several models from the family.

Will print quality hold up on long, fast runs?

The cartridge is built to deliver consistent, dense black output across its rated life — sharp text and solid fills from the first pages to the last thousand or so. Output that gradually lightens near the end is normal behavior for any toner cartridge and your signal that the next change is approaching.

How much downtime does a cartridge change cost on a busy machine?

About two minutes. The swap on the T654 is a simple out-and-in with no tools and no settings to redo, and queued jobs wait rather than disappear. On a high-throughput machine, planning the change at the low-toner warning — rather than at empty — keeps that pause from landing in the middle of a deadline run.

What cover do I get with this cartridge?

A one-year warranty against defects, and free returns for a year if it is not right — details are on our shipping & returns page. Should anything come up, our support team is reachable Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
