Frequently Asked Questions

Why keep a second cartridge on the shelf for a T654dtn?

Because the dtn configuration usually sits in a shared department where an empty cartridge stops work for a dozen people, not one. With a spare in the supply cabinet, a swap takes two minutes and nobody waits on a delivery. The second cartridge in this pack is that insurance.

What do I save with the 2-pack versus buying singles?

Two single cartridges would cost $339.38; this pack is $320.91, so you save $18.47. That works out to $160.46 per cartridge and drops your cost to roughly 0.64 cents per page across the combined 50,000-page rating.

Which printers does this cartridge actually fit?

Although this listing is labeled for the T654dtn, the T650H11A is one common cartridge across the entire T650 platform family. It works in T650, T650n, T650dn, T650dtn, T652, T652n, T652dn, T652dtn, T654, T654n, T654dn, T654dtn, T656dne, TS654dn and TS656dne. Mixed fleets do not need separate stock for each model.

Can I split this 2-pack between two different printers?

Yes. Each cartridge is individually packaged and works in any printer on the platform, so you can install one in the T654dtn today and hold the second for another machine — or keep both as rotation stock for the same printer.

How long can the spare sit in storage before I use it?

A sealed compatible cartridge typically keeps well for around two years when stored flat, away from heat and direct sunlight. At the volumes a T654dtn normally runs, the spare will almost certainly be in service long before shelf life becomes a question.

What if one of the two cartridges turns out to be defective?

Both cartridges are covered the same way: a one-year warranty and free returns within the first year, detailed on our shipping and returns page. Reach out to support and we will replace the faulty unit — you do not need to send back the good one.
