Frequently Asked Questions

What is inside this 6 Color Set for the M177fw?

Six color cartridges built around the three 130A color codes — CF351A cyan, CF352A yellow and CF353A magenta — sold together for $126.04. It is a larger color supply for a machine that gets through colors quickly, kept under the plain 6 Color Set name rather than broken down color by color on this page.

With six cartridges in the box, is one of them black?

None of them is. All six are colors, so a low-black warning on the M177fw will still be waiting after this set arrives. Black for this printer is the separate CF350A cartridge, bought apart from any color set — please do not order this box as a remedy for empty black.

My M177fw receives faxes all day. Does that work touch these colors?

An ordinary incoming fax page prints in black, so fax traffic by itself is not what empties the color stations. What does spend CF351A, CF352A and CF353A is color printing and color copying — the reports, forms and handouts this multifunction machine produces alongside its fax work.

Should the spare cartridges be opened and installed straight away?

No. The printer holds one cartridge per color at a time, so the extras are shelf stock. Leave them sealed until a station actually runs low; a sealed cartridge waiting in a cupboard is in far better shape than one fitted early and sitting half-idle in the machine.

What yield should I expect from each cartridge in this larger set?

Each cartridge carries the same rating: 1,000 pages from each CF351A, each CF352A and each CF353A, measured at standard coverage. Dense color work — full-page backgrounds, photo sheets — draws a cartridge down well before that figure, whichever size of set it came from.

What backing does Clever Supplies give a set of this size?

Every cartridge in it carries a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns. If one unit out of the six proves faulty in its first year, that unit is covered — you do not lose the protection because it arrived as part of a bigger box.

About This 130A 6 Color Set for the Color LaserJet Pro MFP M177fw

Some M177fw machines live busy lives — faxes coming in, color copies going out, reports printed between — and on a machine like that, running out of one color mid-week is an interruption nobody has time for. A six-cartridge color supply answers that pattern differently from a basic refill: instead of reordering the moment a level dips, you already have the next 130A colors in the building, ready to fit the moment a CF351A, CF352A or CF353A station gives out.

The set is $126.04 and ships from whichever of our IL, PA, GA and CA warehouses puts it on the road fastest; full delivery information sits on the shipping & returns page. Help is available Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM CST if you want the codes checked against your machine — the printer itself is the Color LaserJet Pro MFP M177fw — and the wider brand catalogue is under HP.
