Frequently Asked Questions

• What is in this set of 4?

The box holds: M0K01AN (20,000 pages), M0J89AN (16,000 pages), M0J93AN (16,000 pages), M0J97AN (16,000 pages). Each cartridge is individually sealed.

• Which printers does this set fit?

The set fits PageWide Pro 750dn, PageWide Pro 750dw, PageWide Pro MFP 772dn, PageWide Pro MFP 772dw and 6 more. The complete verified list is in the Compatible Printers section on this page.

• Why is there no 990A standard cartridge here?

The 990X doubles the 990A's yield in the same slot, and the standard tier is not reliably stocked by our supplier — so we carry the X line only. Every printer on this page takes the 990X.

• Does every cartridge in the set carry a chip?

Yes. Every cartridge in the set carries a new compatible chip that reports its own ink level to the printer.

• Does the set work out cheaper than buying singles?

Yes — the set is priced below the same cartridges bought one by one, and one box restocks every slot at once. Check the per-cartridge yields above against your usage.

• Do I have to install the whole set at once?

Yes. Open and install only the colour the printer asks for, and keep the rest sealed — they store fine for when their turn comes.

• The printer is showing a warning after I installed it — what now?

Acknowledge the message, reseat the cartridge until it clicks and restart the printer. Most warnings are a one-time notice that a non-original cartridge was fitted.

• Is this a genuine HP set?

No. It is a Clever Supplies compatible set built to the original HP specifications and covered by our lifetime warranty. It is not manufactured by HP.

• Are these the cartridges for PageWide Pro 750/770 MFPs?

Yes — and for the Color 755dn and the Color MFP 774/779 models listed. Managed/Enterprise variants of the same machines that appear on HP's cartridge list are not covered by this listing.

• What happens if a single cartridge from the set fails?

Contact us with the colour and the problem — the lifetime warranty covers each cartridge in the set individually, so a single faulty cartridge is replaced on its own.

• Which cartridge in the set runs out first?

It depends on what you print: text-heavy use drains the black first, photo and graphics work drains the colours. Each cartridge reports its own level, and the spares from this set store sealed until their slot asks for them.

• How do I keep the rest of the set until I need them?

Sealed, upright and at room temperature, away from sunlight. Install each cartridge only when the printer asks for that colour.
