Yellow is easy to forget until greens go blue and highlights wash out — this is the cartridge that prevents it: the compatible T410XL420-S, a dye yellow rated up to 650 pages (ISO/IEC 24711), more than double the standard T410420-S rating of 300 pages. A new compatible chip keeps its level visible to the printer, slot by slot.

The rest of its family: T410XL020-S pigment black, T410XL120-S photo black, T410XL220-S cyan and T410XL320-S magenta. This cartridge carries a new compatible chip. If your printer's firmware has been updated, recognition issues can occasionally occur — reseat the cartridge and restart the printer before assuming a fault.
It belongs to the XP-530, XP-630, XP-635, XP-640 and XP-830, and to no other family: 302 cartridges and the European 33XL set do not fit these US printers. Lifetime warranty, with free returns for the first year.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many pages for the yellow?
Up to 650 pages (ISO/IEC 24711), the XL colour rating. The standard yellow is rated 300 pages.
Prints look washed out and greens look wrong. Could yellow be empty?
Yes — yellow is a quiet failure: blues survive, greens and warm tones collapse. Check this slot's level before blaming the other colours.
Which printers take it?
XP-530, XP-630, XP-635, XP-640 and XP-830 — the verified US 410 list.
Does the cartridge have a chip?
Yes, a new compatible chip. If your printer's firmware has been updated, recognition issues can occasionally occur; reseat and restart first.
Can I swap only the yellow?
Yes. Each of the five positions is independent; replace the low one only.
What ink type is it?
Dye yellow. The family's only pigment cartridge is the document Black.
Why XL only on this shelf?
The compatible ladder for 410 is built on XL singles and sets; no compatible standard-capacity singles are offered, and standard cartridges are never relabelled as XL here.
Will it work in an XP-6100?
No. The XP-6100 uses the 302 family. Your model badge decides the family — XP-630, XP-635 and XP-640 are 410 printers, XP-6000/XP-6100 are not.
What volume of ink does it hold?
No millilitre figure is published in Epson's US documentation for this family, so the Volume field is left blank; the 650-page ISO rating is the comparable figure.
Is it a genuine Epson product?
No — a Clever Supplies compatible built to the T410XL420-S specification, labelled compatible on the box and this page.
How do I store a spare?
Sealed, upright, room temperature, away from sunlight.
What protection comes with it?
The lifetime warranty, plus free returns within the first year.
