In this family the Standard tier is where color stops being the bottleneck, and this magenta is half the reason: the T125320-S, DURABrite Ultra pigment ink rated up to 305 pages (ISO/IEC 24711) — against 175 for its Moderate counterpart. New compatible chip, for Epson's eleven 125 models: Stylus NX125, NX127, NX130, NX230, NX420, NX530, NX625 and WorkForce 320, 323, 325, 520.

Magenta and its partners cyan (T125220-S) and yellow (T125420-S) all carry the same 305-page rating, with the black (T125120-S) at 230 — a balance designed for printers that do real color work: school projects, office graphics, the occasional photo on plain paper. Pigment ink keeps that work instant-dry and resistant to water and highlighter passes.
The branch rule, one final time in this tier's own words: NX530, NX625 and WorkForce 520 owners buy here; NX330, NX430 and WorkForce 435 owners must not — Epson gives those models 124 and 126, and no 125 cartridge fits them. Our model pages enforce the same split. Covered by our lifetime warranty, with free returns for the first year.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yield?
Up to 305 pages (ISO/IEC 24711) for this magenta alone — Epson's individual rating for the T125320-S, shared with the 125 cyan and yellow.
Which printers is it made for?
Stylus NX125, NX127, NX130, NX230, NX420, NX530, NX625 and WorkForce 320, 323, 325, 520. Eleven models, all from Epson's published 125 lists.
What's the difference from the 124 magenta?
Fill and audience: 305 pages (Standard) against 175 (Moderate) — and three models (NX330, NX430, WorkForce 435) accept the 124 but physically have no use for this 125, while three others (NX530, NX625, WorkForce 520) accept this and no 124. Check your badge.
Pigment ink in a color cartridge — what changes?
DURABrite Ultra pigment dries on contact and resists water and smearing; on plain paper it favors crisp graphics and documents over glossy-photo depth. That's the platform's design, genuine and compatible alike.
Colors look washed out right after install. Fault?
Run a nozzle check and one head cleaning first — the printhead sits in the printer on this platform, and a partly clogged magenta channel looks exactly like a weak cartridge. Judge after the cleaning cycle.
Tell me about the chip, honestly.
This cartridge carries a new compatible chip. If your printer's firmware has been updated, recognition issues can occasionally occur with compatible chips — reseat, restart, and if it persists, our lifetime warranty replaces a cartridge that won't perform. Don't touch the green chip contacts.
Can I run it with a 124 black?
Yes on the core eight (Stylus NX125–NX420, WorkForce 320/323/325) — tiers mix per slot. On the NX530, NX625 and WorkForce 520, keep every slot on the 125 branch.
The "T1253" listing I saw elsewhere — same thing?
Same cartridge: T1253 is shorthand for T125320-S magenta (…1 black, …2 cyan, …3 magenta, …4 yellow).
Why not buy the set instead?
If only magenta is low, a single is the honest buy — this platform replaces colors individually. The set of 4 makes sense when several colors are near empty together; the set of 9 when you stock up.
Storage guidance?
Sealed, upright, room temperature, out of sunlight. Use an opened cartridge within about six months, per Epson's platform guidance.
Is it an Epson cartridge?
No — Clever Supplies compatible, built to the T125320-S specification and labeled as such everywhere it matters.
Warranty and returns?
Lifetime warranty against performance failure; free returns in the first year.
