Frequently Asked Questions

What does 7,800 pages look like as a supply plan for our office?

This 3-pack holds three 593-BBKD cartridges at 2,600 pages each, so 7,800 pages is the plan. For an office printing around 500 pages a month, that is roughly fifteen months of toner bought in one order. At 1,000 pages a month it covers about eight months. Framing it as months of supply — rather than a box count — is the easiest way to see whether three is your right number.

How does the price break down per cartridge?

The 3-pack costs $39.78, which is $13.26 per 593-BBKD cartridge — barely half the $25.59 single price. Bought as three singles, the same toner would cost $76.77, so the pack saves $36.99. The ladder behind it is steep and simple: after the first cartridge, each additional one adds only about $7.10.

What does that do to our cost per printed page?

At $39.78 for 7,800 rated pages, the cost lands near 0.51 cents per page — down from roughly 0.98 cents buying singles and 0.63 cents with the 2-pack. Nothing about the cartridges changes; the saving is purely the pack pricing on the second and third cartridges.

How should we rotate three cartridges so none sits too long?

Use them in the order they arrived: first in, first out. Keep the unopened cartridges sealed, flat, and in a cool dry place, and move the next one to the front of the shelf each time you install one. Toner stores well sealed, but a simple rotation habit means no cartridge spends years at the back of a cupboard.

Our E515dn is shared by four people. Does that change how fast a 3-pack goes?

It changes the pace, not the plan. A shared Multi-Function E515dn typically prints far more than a personal machine — copying and scanning-to-print jobs add up — so track total monthly pages rather than guessing per person. If the shared machine runs through a 593-BBKD in under two months, a 3-pack is under six months of cover and a larger pack may suit you better.

Are these genuine Dell cartridges, and what protection do we get?

They are compatible cartridges, not Dell originals, and each one carries a one-year warranty with one-year free returns — details are on our shipping & returns page. We ship from warehouses in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia and California, and support is staffed Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST if anything needs sorting out.
