Frequently Asked Questions

What does buying ten at a time do to the numbers?

It takes this cartridge family to its floor. The pack is $305.87, which is $30.59 per 330-2209 cartridge and about 0.51 cents per rated page across the pack's 60,000 rated pages. Ten cartridges bought singly would cost $472.30, so the pack saves $166.43 — the largest total saving in the range.

Sixty thousand pages is a lot — how does an office actually consume it?

Steadily, and usually across more than one printer. Ten 2335 printers each printing 500 pages a month get through the pack in about a year; so does a smaller group of machines printing several thousand pages a month each. The pack is a fleet supply, not a single desk's — and priced accordingly.

Why standardise a fleet on one cartridge at all?

Because one part number simplifies everything downstream: one shelf location, one reorder point, one unit cost — $30.59 from this pack — for the accounts, and no risk of the wrong cartridge being bought for the wrong machine. Every Dell 2335 in the fleet draws from the same 330-2209 stock.

How should a stock this size be managed?

Keep the cartridges sealed, flat and dry at room temperature, and issue them in order. The discipline that makes a 10-pack work is a reorder trigger: when the last two or three remain, raise the next order. At typical workgroup volumes that point is still months away from an empty shelf.

What if our volumes drop after buying the pack?

Then the honest answer is that the saving takes longer to realise — the cartridges do not expire on a schedule printed on the box, but toner bought for printing that never happens is capital sitting still. Buy this size against volumes you actually run, or against several machines sharing the stock, and the arithmetic holds up.

What warranty covers a pack of this size?

Each cartridge individually carries a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns, so a faulty unit comes back to us whenever it is loaded, first or tenth. Help is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, and the terms are on our shipping & returns page.
