Frequently Asked Questions

How long will this pack keep the MF656CDW supplied?

Two Canon 067H (5106C001) cartridges total about 6,260 pages. At 300 pages a month that is well over a year and a half of printing and copying; at 600 a month, roughly ten months. For most small offices, this is a once-a-year purchase.

What do I actually save with the pack?

Singles cost $51.90 each, so two would be $103.80. The pack is $85.32: each Canon 067H works out to $42.66, the saving is $18.48, and the effective cost across the pack's 6,260 pages is about 1.36 cents per page.

How do I avoid reordering the standard cartridge by mistake?

Check the part number, not just the family name. This pack is 5106C001 — the Canon 067H, high yield. The standard cartridge is 5102C001, the 067: fewer pages (1,350 per cartridge) at a higher price ($64.27). Two standards would cost $128.54 against this pack's $85.32, for well under half the pages.

Is it fine that the second cartridge waits months before use?

Completely. Keep the spare 5106C001 sealed in its packaging, stored flat somewhere cool, dry, and out of direct sun. Dry toner does not expire on the shelf the way liquid ink can, so the second cartridge starts its 3,130 pages in as-new condition whenever you fit it.

Why stock a spare for this particular machine?

The MF656CDW is the kind of device an office leans on for everything — printing, copying, daily paperwork. A toner stoppage idles all of it at once. The second cartridge in this pack converts that stoppage into a brief pause, which is worth more than the $18.48 the pack also saves.

What protection covers the pack?

Our 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns cover both Canon 067H (5106C001) cartridges, as set out on the shipping and returns page. The spare is protected from the day the pack arrives, not the day it is fitted.
