Frequently Asked Questions

Why do departments buy this cartridge three at a time?

Because 90,600 pages maps neatly onto a planning period. Many departments budget and order quarterly, and three GPR-43 cartridges at 30,200 pages each give one purchase order that covers the period's black printing on their imageRUNNER — no mid-quarter scramble when a cartridge runs out at the worst moment.

What does the per-cartridge price fall to in this pack?

$110.25 across three cartridges is $36.75 each, against $49.08 for a single — a saving of $36.99 compared with buying three singles one by one. Across the pack's 90,600 pages, the rated cost works out at about 0.12 cents per page.

How do we check whether 90,600 pages matches our actual volume?

Use the machine's meter. Take last quarter's total page count for black output; if it sits anywhere near 90,000, this pack is sized for you. Well under that, a smaller pack keeps less cash on the shelf; well over it, the 5-pack and 10-pack push the per-cartridge price down further.

Can the three cartridges be split between two machines?

Yes — provided both machines specify the GPR-43. The cartridges are identical GPR43BK units, so two can live by one machine and one by another. They will not fit machines on the GPR-42 or GPR-38 families, which use different cartridges entirely.

What if one cartridge in the three turns out to be faulty?

Each cartridge is covered individually by the one-year warranty and one-year free returns, so a problem with one unit does not put the whole pack in dispute. Full terms are on the shipping and returns page.

How does delivery work on a pack this size?

We ship from four warehouses — Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia and California — so the pack leaves from the stock point that serves your address best. Questions before or after ordering are handled by support, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
