Frequently Asked Questions

Why keep a second cartridge on the shelf instead of reordering when the machine stops?

On a shared production imageRUNNER, an empty cartridge does not just pause one job — it backs up everyone's copying and printing behind it. With this 2-pack of GPR-43 cartridges, the spare is already in the cupboard: the swap takes minutes, work continues, and the reorder happens calmly afterwards instead of as an emergency.

What does the second cartridge in the pack really cost?

Less than the first. A single GPR43BK is $49.08, and the pair is $79.66 — so the second cartridge adds $30.58. Put another way, the per-cartridge price drops from $49.08 to $39.83, and buying the pair saves $18.50 against two singles bought separately.

How much printing does the pair cover?

Two cartridges at 30,200 pages each give 60,400 pages in total, and at $79.66 that brings the rated cost down to about 0.13 cents per page. For a department measuring its consumables budget in fractions of a cent, that step down from the single-cartridge figure is the real point of the pack.

Will a spare cartridge deteriorate while it waits in the cupboard?

Kept sealed in its packaging, in a cool dry place away from direct heat, a toner cartridge waits patiently. The practical rules are simple: leave it sealed until the day it goes in, store it flat, and use the older cartridge first when fresh stock arrives.

Our other machine takes the GPR-42 — can this pack cover both?

No. These are GPR43BK cartridges for machines that specify the Canon GPR-43. The GPR-42 family fits different imageRUNNER models and cannot be swapped in, so each machine needs its stock kept under its own code.

What cover comes with the pack?

Both cartridges carry the same protection as a single: a one-year warranty and one-year free returns under our shipping and returns policy. Orders ship from our warehouses in IL, PA, GA and CA, and support answers Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
