Frequently Asked Questions

What does 280,000 pages do to the page cost?

Five GPR-38 cartridges at $396.26 work out at $79.25 per cartridge, and across 280,000 rated pages the cost falls to about 0.14 cents per page. Against five single purchases the pack saves $73.99. At production scale, that one-hundredth-of-a-cent territory per page is where the family's economics become genuinely hard to beat.

Who actually runs through five of these?

Environments where a single imageRUNNER — or a small group of them on the GPR-38 — carries a department's or a print room's entire black volume, month after month. If your meter history does not show six-figure annual page counts, do the honest check first: the 2-pack and 3-pack exist precisely for lighter loads.

Five large cartridges take up room — how should they be stored?

Together, sealed, flat, in a cool dry store — and used in arrival order. Marking the delivery date on each carton keeps rotation effortless. Shelf space for five production cartridges is a real consideration, so claim a proper spot for them rather than letting them scatter around the machine room.

When should we reorder with stock this deep?

A workable rule: reorder when the second-to-last cartridge goes into the machine. That leaves one full 56,000-page cartridge of buffer — weeks of production at almost any pace — while the next order is processed and shipped, so the shelf never actually empties.

How do we keep this stock separate from other families?

By code. This pack is GPR38BK only. The GPR-43 and GPR-42 cartridges stocked for other machines cannot be used in a GPR-38 machine, so one labelled shelf section per family keeps stores simple and mistakes impossible.

What cover and support come with the pack?

A one-year warranty and one-year free returns on every cartridge, per the shipping and returns page. Shipments leave from our IL, PA, GA or CA warehouses, and support answers Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
