Frequently Asked Questions

What does 168,000 pages cover on a production schedule?

Three GPR-38 cartridges cover the kind of horizon production managers plan in: a season of heavy output, a long contract run, a half-year at roughly 28,000 pages a month. $245.15 buys that whole stretch in one order, so toner stops appearing on the schedule as a recurring risk and becomes a settled input.

How do the economics move at this size?

The per-cartridge price falls to $81.72, the saving against three singles is $37.00, and across 168,000 pages the rated cost is about 0.15 cents per page. The pattern is the same ladder as the smaller packs — each step trades a larger commitment for a lower unit price.

Why lock in three cartridges at once rather than ordering as needed?

Two reasons: the price per cartridge is fixed at the pack figure instead of whatever a hurried single costs later, and a production run never has to pause because the shelf was empty. For machines whose output is promised to other people — clients, departments, deadlines — that certainty is worth as much as the $37.00 saving.

Can the pack be split across two machines?

Yes, as long as both machines specify the GPR-38. The cartridges are identical GPR38BK units and can be allocated however the work demands. Machines on the GPR-42 or GPR-43 families cannot use them and need their own stock.

What if a cartridge underperforms?

It is covered individually: the one-year warranty and one-year free returns apply per cartridge, whether it was bought singly or in this pack. The process is described on the shipping and returns page.

Where will the pack ship from?

From the most suitable of our four warehouses — Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia and California. Support is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST if you want stock confirmed before a major run.
