Frequently Asked Questions
Why buy two 70,000-page cartridges at once?
Because a production machine that stops mid-run costs more than toner ever will. This 2 pack of the Canon GPR-37 (GPR37BK) puts 140,000 pages on site: one cartridge in the machine, one on the shelf. When the first runs out at page 70,000, the swap takes minutes and the next 70,000 pages are already in the building.
What does the second cartridge in this pack really cost?
Two singles would cost $198.10. This pack is $182.64, so each cartridge works out to $91.32 and you save $15.46 across the pair. The per-page cost also improves slightly, from about 0.14 cents on a single to roughly 0.13 cents here.
How long will 140,000 pages last us?
At 1,000 pages a day, that is about 140 working days — close to seven months of printing from one order. At 3,000 pages a day, think seven weeks. Either way, reordering becomes a calendar event a few times a year instead of a recurring chore.
Does toner go off if the spare sits on the shelf for months?
Kept sealed, in a cool dry place and out of direct sunlight, a toner cartridge stores well for the kind of periods a 2 pack implies. The spare from this pack will typically be installed within one cartridge cycle — up to 70,000 pages — which is well inside sensible storage time.
What protection comes with the pack?
Both cartridges are covered by our 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns, detailed on the shipping and returns page. That cover applies per cartridge, so the spare is protected while it waits, not only once it is installed.
Who is this pack size right for?
Sites running one hard-working machine that cannot queue jobs while a delivery is in transit. If you have several machines or a print room, the 5 and 10 packs push the GPR37BK price down to $86.69 and $85.15 per cartridge; for a single machine, this pair is the balanced step.
