Frequently Asked Questions
Who is a 5 pack actually for?
Floors and departments where the imageRUNNER is infrastructure, not an appliance — high daily copy and print volume, or several GPR-35 machines drawing on one supply cupboard. Five GPR35BK cartridges hold 73,000 rated pages; at that consumption level, ordering singles means someone is raising a purchase request every few weeks. This pack turns toner into a twice-a-year decision instead of a monthly chore.
What does each cartridge cost inside this pack?
$43.90 each. Five Canon GPR-35 singles total $293.50; the 5 pack is $219.50, saving $74.00 against buying one at a time. The per-page cost works out to about 0.30 cents, down from roughly 0.40 cents on the single — on a machine printing tens of thousands of pages, that tenth-of-a-cent step is where the pack quietly pays for itself.
Are the cartridges in this pack any different from the single?
No — they are the same compatible GPR35BK cartridge, rated at the same 14,600 pages, built to the same Canon GPR-35 specification. The only thing that changes across the pack sizes is the unit price. Nothing about print quality, yield or fitting is traded away to reach the lower number.
How do we avoid over-ordering at this size?
Count backwards from the machine's own meter. Check the total counter and your last order date: if the department has used roughly a cartridge a month or faster, five is a reasonable half-year of stock. If usage is slower, step down to the 3 pack — a cheaper cartridge that sits unused for a very long time is not a saving, whatever the unit price says.
How should five cartridges be stored and rotated?
Individually sealed, in a cool, dry cupboard away from sunlight and heat, and rotated first-in, first-out so the oldest box is always the next one opened. Toner keeps well stored this way; what it does not reward is being forgotten behind newer deliveries until the packaging is dusty.
What protection covers a bulk purchase like this?
The same protection as a single: a 1-year warranty on every cartridge and free returns within the first year if any of the five fails to perform. Orders ship from the nearest of our warehouses in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia or California, and our support team is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST. Full terms are on our shipping and returns page.
