Frequently Asked Questions

Six color cartridges and not one black — who orders like this?

Sites where color is the workload and the black supply already runs on its own track. This set is two complete GPR-30 color banks — GPR-30C cyan, GPR-30M magenta and GPR-30Y yellow at 38,000 pages each, twice over — with no GPR-30BK in the box. The black is rated higher, at 44,000 pages, and in fleet and print-room settings it is commonly ordered in bulk on a separate line, leaving the color bank as the stock that needs depth here.

What does the six-cartridge bundle do to the price?

It sets the per-cartridge figure at $107.32 — $643.92 for the six. Against the direct alternative, two of the family's 3-color sets would come to $662.40, so this listing saves $18.48 on the identical six cartridges and arrives as one delivery instead of two.

How do two color banks get worked through in practice?

One in the machine, one in reserve, strictly oldest-first. Install the first bank of GPR-30C, GPR-30M and GPR-30Y; when a single color empties, its shelf counterpart goes in — there is no need to change colors in lockstep just because they arrived together. Date the outer box on arrival so the rotation order survives staff changes and busy months.

Why not simply buy the 8-cartridge set and take blacks too?

Because that duplicates a supply the site already has. The 8-cartridge set suits a site stocking everything through one listing; this one suits a site whose black cartridges are covered by a separate bulk order, a fleet pool or a different budget. Paying for two more blacks to sit beside an existing black stock is not a discount, it is duplication.

How long will six cartridges realistically last a site?

At 38,000 pages per color cartridge, this is a substantial stock: two full color cycles. On a busy production machine that is a planning horizon, not a hoard — and sealed cartridges stored flat, cool and dry keep without deteriorating across it. If a single color bank lasts your site the better part of a year, though, the 3-color set is the proportionate buy.

What happens if one of the six is defective?

It is handled alone, under its own 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns, while the remaining five continue through the rotation. Our support team works Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, and the set ships from whichever of our Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia or California warehouses is quickest to you.
