Frequently Asked Questions

Six colour cartridges and no black — who prints like that?

Anyone whose output is colour-first: marketing materials, charts and proposals, classroom handouts, estate-agent listings, menu and signage work. In those offices the 131C, 131M and 131Y colours are the consumable that matters, and black is an occasional top-up bought singly. This set stocks the colours in depth — six cartridges, each rated at 1,500 pages.

What does the six-pack bring the per-cartridge price down to?

About $19.29. At $115.76 for six, it steps below the three-colour set's average of roughly $22.38 and far below the $34.70 single price — six singles would be $208.20. For an office that knows colour is its main spend, that per-cartridge step is the whole argument.

How far do six colour cartridges actually go?

Each colour cartridge is rated at 1,500 pages, and colour pages draw on cyan, magenta and yellow together, so think in rounds: each full round of the three colours covers up to 1,500 colour pages at the rated coverage. Six cartridges is two full rounds of colour in the cupboard — a semester of handouts or a season of listings, depending on your pace.

How is the black handled alongside this set?

Separately, and deliberately. The Canon 131 black (131BK, rated at 2,400 pages) is a high-capacity cartridge that colour-heavy offices still use for text — it is bought as a single when needed, so none of this set's price is tied up in a cartridge that would sit behind six colours in the queue.

Does stocking six of the colours risk waste?

Only if your colour volume collapses — the cartridges themselves wait patiently. Keep them sealed, flat and out of sunlight, fit the oldest first, and the last cartridge of the six performs like the first. If your colour printing is steady enough to justify the set at all, the stock will turn over long before age matters.

What stands behind a bulk colour buy like this?

Each cartridge carries a one-year warranty and one-year free returns — full terms on our shipping & returns page — and orders ship from our IL, PA, GA or CA warehouses. Support is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM CST.
