Frequently Asked Questions

What is in this set?

Four TN720 toner cartridges, each rated at up to 3,000 pages for a combined 12,000 pages, together with one DR720 drum unit, also rated at up to 12,000 pages. Toner and drum are matched page for page in this bundle.

How neatly do the yields align?

Perfectly, on paper: four standard cartridges at 3,000 pages each exactly equal the drum's 12,000-page life. In practice the drum warning and the fourth cartridge's end will arrive close together, which makes this the tidiest full-cycle set in the TN720 line — start both fresh, run everything down together.

Which printers does it fit?

All models in the TN720/TN750 family: the DCP-8110DN, DCP-8150DN, DCP-8155DN, HL-5440D, HL-5450DN, HL-5470DW, HL-5470DWT, HL-6180DW, HL-6180DWT, MFC-8510DN, MFC-8710DW, MFC-8810DW, MFC-8910DW and MFC-8950DW. The set can also be shared between several of those printers in one workplace.

What is the saving built into the set?

Four TN720 cartridges plus a drum, bought separately, total $176.14. The set is $102.17, so you save $73.97.

Is the TN750 set a better deal at the same price?

On page count alone, yes — the TN750 set costs the same and its cartridges run to 8,000 pages each. This TN720 set exists for those who consciously prefer the standard cartridge their printer shipped with, replaced on the original schedule. We would rather show you both numbers than hide the comparison.

How do I start the set off correctly?

Fit the first cartridge into the new drum, install the assembly, and reset the drum counter from the printer's menu so both counters effectively start together. Keep the remaining cartridges sealed and flat. Every component is covered by our 1-year warranty and free returns for a full year — terms on the shipping & returns page; support is available 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
