This listing is the compatible TN750 high-yield cartridge for the Brother DCP-8155. One cartridge is rated to print up to 8,000 pages; its standard-yield TN720 counterpart stops at 3,000 pages.
Coverage is straightforward: a 1-year warranty, with free returns throughout the first year.
Frequently Asked Questions
My prints are fading — is that the toner or the drum?
Usually the toner. Even, overall lightness across the whole page points to a cartridge running low or toner settled unevenly; remove it, rock it gently side to side, and reinstall — if output darkens, it was the toner nearing its end, and a fresh TN750 settles it. Sharp repeating marks or lines at regular intervals point the other way, toward the drum.
What about streaks, spots or a grey background?
Those are classic drum symptoms rather than toner symptoms. The imaging drum on this platform is the separate DR720 unit, rated at 12,000 pages. First try sliding the green corona-wire tab back and forth on the drum and returning it to its home position; if the pattern persists on every page in the same place, the drum — not a new toner — is the fix.
Which models does this cartridge serve?
The TN750 serves the Brother machines built around this toner platform: DCP-8110DN, DCP-8150DN, DCP-8155DN, HL-5440D, HL-5450DN, HL-5470DW, HL-5470DWT, HL-6180DW, HL-6180DWT, MFC-8510DN, MFC-8710DW, MFC-8810DW, MFC-8910DW and MFC-8950DW. This page is the listing aimed at DCP-8155 owners, but the cartridge itself is the same across the range.
Can a fresh cartridge fix light prints even when no warning shows?
Yes — the low-toner sensor is an estimate, and a heavily used cartridge can fade before the machine complains. At $33.59 for 8,000 pages (about 0.42 cents per page), swapping in the high-yield TN750 is the cheapest diagnostic step there is: if density returns to full black, the old cartridge was done. Note the standard TN720 costs the same $33.59 here but holds only 3,000 pages, so there is no economy in testing with the smaller one.
Any settings worth checking before blaming the cartridge?
Two. Toner Save (Eco) mode deliberately prints lighter to stretch a cartridge — if it is on, that grey look is a feature, not a fault. And print density can be adjusted in the machine's settings menu. Check both before concluding that a cartridge is defective.
If a new cartridge still prints badly, what then?
Then the problem is elsewhere — most often the drum — and our support team (9 AM–5 PM CST) can help pin it down. The cartridge itself is protected regardless: a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns apply to every compatible cartridge we sell, with the details on the shipping & returns page. You will not be left paying for a cartridge that was not the cause of the problem.
About This TN750 Cartridge for the DCP-8155
Print-quality complaints on this platform split cleanly in two: fading belongs to the toner, patterns belong to the drum. This TN750 addresses the first half properly — a full 8,000-page high-yield fill at $33.59, not a partial refill — and its price makes it a rational troubleshooting step before anything more expensive is considered. If your diagnosis lands on the drum instead, the DR720 is $41.78. Both parts, and the pack versions of this cartridge, are listed in our Brother range.
