Frequently Asked Questions

How can we be sure these are the cartridge numbers our 6015V/B runs on?

Pull any one of the installed cartridges partway out and read its label, or check the machine's supplies information. The set you need is 106R01630 in black, 106R01627 in cyan, 106R01628 in magenta and 106R01629 in yellow. If those are the numbers your machine reports, this is its set.

Ninety percent of our printing is plain black documents. Is a four-color set still the right purchase?

Yes, because the machine works with all four cartridges installed, and each empties on its own schedule. Your black cartridge — rated 2,000 pages — will do the heavy lifting on packing slips and documents, while the colors, at 1,000 pages each, sit ready for the occasional color job. Buying the set simply means every slot has a fresh cartridge waiting when its turn comes.

What does the set contain, and what is the total?

One cartridge of each color — black, cyan, magenta, yellow — all sealed, for $68.36 altogether. There is no second box, no companion unit and no add-on required to complete a toner change on this multifunction.

How long should a set last a back office printing a few dozen pages a day?

At that pace the arithmetic is friendly: a 2,000-page black rating stretches across many weeks of packing slips and paperwork, and the colors last longer still in calendar terms because so little color work passes through. Busy weeks shorten the interval and quiet weeks extend it — the page budget itself does not change.

Which related models share this set?

Alongside the WorkCentre 6015V/B itself, the same cartridges fit the WorkCentre 6015 and WorkCentre 6015V/N, and the Phaser 6000, Phaser 6010 and Phaser 6010N printers — handy when a business runs more than one of these Xerox machines.

What warranty and returns stand behind the set?

The cartridges are covered by a 1-year warranty, with free returns for a year; the terms are set out on the shipping and returns page. We dispatch from the closest of our Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia and California warehouses, and support runs Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
