Frequently Asked Questions

What does "high yield" mean for this WorkCentre 6655 set?

It means each cartridge holds a larger toner supply than a standard cartridge for the same machine. Here the black 106R02747 is rated at up to 12,000 pages and the cyan 106R02744, magenta 106R02745 and yellow 106R02746 at up to 7,500 pages each, so a departmental machine like the 6655 goes much longer between changes.

What is in the box?

Four high-yield cartridges, one per slot: black 106R02747, cyan 106R02744, magenta 106R02745 and yellow 106R02746. Together they form the complete toner set for the machine this listing is built around.

Which printer takes these cartridges?

The WorkCentre 6655 is the machine for this set. If the cartridge coming out of your 6655 carries one of the numbers 106R02747, 106R02744, 106R02745 or 106R02746, this is the matching high-yield family.

Do I need to replace all four cartridges together?

No. The machine meters each color separately, and each cartridge lifts out on its own. Fit only the one that has run down; the others from the set can wait, sealed, until the printer calls for them.

How should unopened cartridges from the set be stored?

Keep them in their sealed packaging, flat, in a cool dry place out of direct sunlight. Stored that way, a cartridge from this set stays ready for the months it may sit between the first change and the last.

What do the warranty and shipping terms look like?

The set is $182.17 with a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns, spelled out on our shipping & returns page. It ships from Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia or California depending on your location, and support answers Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
