Frequently Asked Questions

How do we double-check this set against the printer in the sales office?

Read the label on a cartridge that is already installed. This set consists of 106R01439 for black, 106R01433 for cyan, 106R01434 for magenta and 106R01435 for yellow — if those are the numbers your Phaser 7500YDX takes, you are ordering the right box and the check is done in under a minute.

What is inside the box when it gets here?

Four sealed toner cartridges — one black, one cyan, one magenta and one yellow — and nothing else. Toner is all this set claims to be. Imaging units and the waste container live separate lives inside the printer and are ordered separately when their turn comes.

Our posters are full-color, wall-to-wall. Will the color cartridges last like the ratings say?

The 17,800-page color ratings assume standard coverage, and a poster is the opposite of standard coverage — it lays toner across nearly every inch. Expect posters to spend color several times faster than the rating suggests. Black, rated at 19,800 pages, mostly handles spec sheets and contracts and keeps closer to its number. Dealers who print promotions in-house keep a spare set for sale weekends.

One color died during a Saturday event. Are we down until Monday?

No — the cartridges change one at a time, so the dead color comes out and its replacement goes in while the other three stay seated. A salesperson can do it between customers with no tools, and the window posters are printing again the same morning.

How do orders reach the dealership?

Each set ships from whichever of our Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia or California warehouses is nearest the store. Delivery expectations and return instructions are posted on our shipping and returns page.

What if a cartridge turns out to be a dud?

Send it back — the set is covered by a 1-year warranty with 1-year free returns. Support staff take questions Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, and the rest of the printer's Xerox supplies can be found from the brand page.

About This Phaser 7500YDX High-Yield Toner Set

A dealership's Phaser 7500YDX prints the showroom — window stickers, spec sheets, and the big promotional posters that move metal on a weekend. This set is built for that split workload: black rated at 19,800 pages for the paperwork, and each color rated at 17,800 pages for graphics that have to pop under showroom lights. It also fits the Phaser 7500, Phaser 7500DN, Phaser 7500DT and Phaser 7500DX. Confirm the four cartridge numbers, order the set at $254.71, and the next promotion prints in-house instead of at the copy shop across town.
