Frequently Asked Questions

What is the cost per page of running this cartridge in a Phaser 4622DN?

About 0.49 cents. The cartridge — part number 106R01535, the platform's high-yield black unit — costs $146.12 and is rated at 30,000 pages at standard 5% coverage. Divide one by the other and that is the running figure. For a networked departmental printer churning through reports, sub-half-cent toner is close to a rounding error, and it is the strongest practical argument for the high-yield cartridge over a standard-capacity one.

How do I know this is the 4622DN's cartridge?

By the number on the cartridge you are replacing: 106R01535. The 4622DN sits within the Phaser 4622 family on the 4600 and 4620 platform, and the whole platform shares this one cartridge — also labeled 4600H in some listings, including shorthand references you may see elsewhere. This page is the listing named for the 4622DN so you can shop by model; the number confirms the match.

Which other models does the cartridge fit?

The Phaser 4600 and Phaser 4620 families, and the 4622's own Phaser 4622DN category — the model this listing is named for — together with the letter-suffixed variants across the platform. Stock held for one machine is usable in the others.

How long will 30,000 pages last us?

At 1,400 pages a month, about 21 months. At 2,800 pages a month, roughly 10 to 11 months. At 5,600 pages a month, around five months. Your documents set the fine print — text tracks the rating, dense graphics run through toner faster — but in any normal office this is a long-interval cartridge.

The printer says toner is low. Do I swap today?

Not on the message alone. The warning arrives with a generous reserve still in the cartridge; it is an ordering prompt, not an empty signal. Print until the output fades, rock the old cartridge gently side to side to redistribute its remaining toner when fading starts, and swap when the paleness becomes uniform and stays. Keep this cartridge as the shelf spare and the swap takes a minute.

What cover comes with this compatible cartridge?

A 1-year warranty against defects plus 1-year free returns if it does not perform — the same cover as every cartridge in the store. The terms are set out on the shipping and returns page, and support is staffed Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
