Frequently Asked Questions
How much toner is a 5-pack for the CopyCentre 123, in plain terms?
Five cartridges of the 006R01184, each rated at up to 30,000 pages — 150,000 pages standing on the shelf. For a CopyCentre 123 doing ordinary departmental duty, that is realistically several years of toner bought in one order.
What does the box save over buying singly?
Singles are $88.78 each, so five bought one at a time come to $443.90. This box is $369.96: $73.94 saved, $73.99 per cartridge, and the running cost drops from about 0.30 to roughly 0.25 cents per page.
Will cartridges bought today still be good in two years?
Yes, as long as they stay sealed. Toner is a dry powder — an unopened 006R01184 stored flat in a normal cupboard does not degrade on an office timescale. Open each cartridge only when the machine calls for it and the fifth cartridge prints like the first.
How do I know when to start the next cartridge?
The machine tells you twice: first a toner-low warning, which still leaves a useful stretch of printing, then visibly fading output when the cartridge is truly spent. Use the warning as your cue to check the shelf — with a 5-pack, the next cartridge is already there, so a swap takes minutes, not a delivery wait.
What warranty covers a multi-year supply like this?
Each cartridge in the box has its own 1-year warranty, and returns are free for a year. The full wording is on our shipping and returns page; questions are answered Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
