Frequently Asked Questions

Why is the five-pack the natural choice for an ML-3312 that prints every day?

Daily printing burns through a 5,000-page cartridge on a predictable cycle, and the pack matches that cycle to a lower price: $121.13 for five cartridges, about $24.23 each, instead of $39.02 one at a time. You also stop placing the same order over and over — one purchase covers a long stretch of work.

How many pages are in the box altogether?

Each of the five MLT-D205L cartridges is rated at 5,000 pages, so the pack represents 25,000 pages of printing. Put in office terms, that is fifty reams of paper fully printed — a figure that helps when you are budgeting supplies for the year ahead.

What saving does the pack give over buying singly?

Five singles at $39.02 come to $195.10; the pack is $121.13. The difference, $73.97, stays in the supplies budget, and the per-page toner cost drops from about 0.78 cents to roughly 0.48 cents at the same time.

Can one pack serve as shared stock for several Samsung models?

Yes. These are standard MLT-D205L cartridges, the same unit used by the ML-3310 series, the rest of the ML-3312 series, the ML-3710 and ML-3712 series, and the SCX-4833, SCX-4835, SCX-5637 and SCX-5737 multifunction machines. Any of those printers can draw from the same box.

How should the spare cartridges be stored?

Sealed, flat and somewhere cool and dry — a supply cupboard is ideal. Keep them out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources, use them in the order you bought them, and the last cartridge in the box will print just as well as the first.

What happens if a cartridge partway through the pack proves faulty?

That cartridge goes back on its own. Every unit in the pack carries a one-year warranty and free returns for a year, so a leaking or streaking cartridge is sorted individually without disturbing the rest. The steps are laid out on the shipping and returns page.
