Frequently Asked Questions

What is in this set for the Pro 300 M351a?

One of each 305A cartridge — CE410A black, CE411A cyan, CE412A yellow and CE413A magenta — sealed individually in a single $80.78 carton. The M351a is the compact, USB-connected Pro 300 printer, and this is its entire toner row in one go.

How much printing does the set represent?

By the family ratings: 2,200 pages from the CE410A black and 2,600 pages from each of the CE411A, CE412A and CE413A colors. For a small shop printing invoices on the black and the odd color flyer or sign, that is a long interval between orders.

How do I know when a color is getting low, with no network screen to check?

The driver software on the connected computer reports the levels, and a supplies status page printed from the driver shows all four codes with their remaining percentages. Watch the black — on a document-led desk it moves several times faster than the colors.

Can I replace just the black and keep the colors boxed?

Yes, that is exactly how the set is meant to be used. Each cartridge is sealed on its own; unopened colors keep perfectly well in a drawer, flat and out of sunlight, until the printer asks for them.

Is this the same set the bigger Pro machines use?

It is. The M351a shares the 305A row with the whole Pro 300 and Pro 400 color range — the same codes you would find in a networked machine like the LaserJet 300 Color MFP M375nw. Buy by the CE410A–CE413A codes and you cannot go wrong.

What cover comes with it?

A year of warranty and a year of free returns. If a cartridge fails early or arrives damaged, contact us during support hours and we will replace it or refund you.
