Bottles, not cartridges

A 32XL black bottle is rated at about 6,200 pages and each 31 color bottle at about 9,100 composite color pages, so a full refill set carries a Smart Tank through thousands of pages. Refilling is mechanical — a keyed nozzle, no chips, no firmware checks.

Note the regional split: Smart Tank printers sold outside the US use the GT51/52/53 bottle system, which does not fit US models.
