• Which printers does the 1VU27AN bottle refill?

• How many pages does one bottle print?

  HP rates the 32XL black bottle (1VV24AN) at about 6,200 pages and each 31 color bottle at about 9,100 composite color pages, measured on the bottle's own product data. Real output varies with coverage and print settings.

• Is there a chip to reset or program?

  No. Smart Tank bottles are chipless — you open the tank cap, slot the bottle onto the matching color inlet and let it drain. There is nothing electronic to recognize or reject.

• What is the difference between HP 31 and HP 32XL?

  In the US line the black bottle is the high-capacity 32XL (135 mL, about 6,200 pages) while cyan, magenta and yellow are sold as HP 31 (70 mL each). They are one system — the 31 colors and the 32XL black fill the same Smart Tank printers.

• How do I refill without a mess?

  Use a flat surface, open only the tank color you are filling, and push the bottle straight down onto the inlet until it seats — the keyed nozzle only fits its own color. Stop when the tank reaches the max line, then recap the bottle if any ink remains.

• Can I mix this ink with the ink already in the tank?

  Yes. The ink is formulated to the same specification as the original HP 31/32XL ink, so topping up a part-used tank is fine.

• How should I store a spare bottle?

  Sealed, upright and at room temperature, away from direct sunlight. Open a bottle only when you are ready to fill.

• Will this fit the HP DeskJet GT or Smart Tank printers sold outside the US?

  No — the GT51/GT52/GT53 bottles are a different regional system. This bottle is for the US Smart Tank 31/32XL line only.

• Is this an original HP bottle?

  No. It is a Clever Supplies compatible bottle made to the HP 31/32XL specification. It is not made by HP, and the HP name is used only to show which printers it fits.

• What if the ink does not print properly?

  Run the printer's printhead cleaning cycle once and check the tank vent is open. If output is still wrong, the bottle is covered by the Clever Supplies lifetime warranty — contact us and we will replace it or refund you.

• How fast is delivery?
