The OfficeJet 6958 sits in the workhorse class of its series: a printer bought to run every day, not to sit in a cupboard. Its running cost is decided almost entirely by which yield tier you feed it — the standard cartridges for occasional use, the high-yield versions below for anything resembling a weekly print load.

This family runs HP dynamic security: the printer checks the cartridge chip, and HP firmware updates can change what is accepted. Our cartridges carry a new compatible chip built for these models; if a future HP firmware update ever blocks a cartridge, the lifetime warranty covers you — contact us and we will put it right.
