XP-300
Ink for the Expression Home XP-300 is the Epson 200 family in four individual pigment cartridges. Below are Clever Supplies compatible 200XL cartridges — black (T200XL120) up to 500 pages, colours up to 450 pages each — chipped, and backed by a lifetime warranty.
XP-300 Ink Cartridges — 200XL, All Four Colours
Epson's cartridge documentation for the XP-300 lists the full 200 code set: standard T200120 / T200220 / T200320 / T200420 and high-capacity T200XL120 / T200XL220 / T200XL320 / T200XL420. Rated yields (ISO/IEC 24711/24712): standard black up to 175 pages and each colour up to 165; XL black up to 500 pages and each colour up to 450, all DURABrite Ultra pigment ink. We stock the XL tier only — the compatible ladder for this family is built on XL — because the standard cartridges run out fast enough that the XL's cost per page wins for almost everyone.
The XP-300 appears in Epson's own compatibility list for the 200 cartridge set, standard and XL alike. Its name invites one classic mistake worth clearing up: the XP-310 genuinely shares this ink — the two models really do take the same cartridges — but the XP-314 sold overseas is a different, region-coded model that is not part of the US list. Badge first: XP-300 means this page, and every cartridge here is the 200XL tier.
Which 200XL should you buy?
- One colour ran out: replace just that colour — black, cyan, magenta and yellow singles are $8.99 each.
- Full refresh: the Set of 4 ($29.94) replaces all four positions in one box.
- Print every week: the Set of 9 ($53.87) stocks three blacks and two of each colour — the pattern document printing actually consumes.
Chip, ink and everyday use
Every cartridge carries a new compatible chip, so the XP-300 reads its ink levels as it should; a one-time on-screen confirmation is the printer checking a non-Epson cartridge, not an error. The ink is DURABrite Ultra pigment: prints come out dry to the touch, resist water and highlighter smudging, and hold up on documents that get filed and handled. Keep spares sealed until install day, and if a firmware update ever precedes a recognition warning, reseat the cartridge and restart before judging it — the lifetime warranty stands behind every cartridge either way.
