Frequently Asked Questions

What makes these three cartridges "high yield"?

The fill. The P3HJK cyan, 5PG7P magenta and 3P7C4 yellow in this set are the high-yield builds of the H625cdw color cartridges, each rated at up to 2,500 pages — a substantially larger toner load than the standard fill of the same cartridge family. In practice that means noticeably longer stretches between color changes on your Dell Color Laser H625cdw.

What does the set save against the three high-yield singles?

The P3HJK, 5PG7P and 3P7C4 bought individually total $93.36. As this set they cost $56.37, so the bundle keeps $36.99 in your pocket and works out to about $18.79 per cartridge instead of $31.12 apiece. It is the largest single saving in this cartridge family, because the high-yield singles carry the higher shelf prices.

How long might 2,500 pages per color last in real use?

That depends entirely on how color-heavy your printing is. Each of the P3HJK, 5PG7P and 3P7C4 is rated at up to 2,500 pages, so at roughly 100 color pages a month a single color position could run for around two years; at several hundred color pages a month, think in terms of a season rather than a year. Ratings assume standard page coverage, so dense graphics will shorten them.

Is black included with these high-yield colors?

No. This is a color-only set — one P3HJK, one 5PG7P and one 3P7C4 — and the black position of your H625cdw is not covered by the $56.37 price. If the printer is low on black as well, that cartridge needs its own separate order; we flag it here so the box contents match your expectations.

Can I fit one color now and keep the other two sealed?

Yes. Install whichever of the P3HJK, 5PG7P or 3P7C4 the printer asks for and shelve the remaining cartridges in their sealed packaging, flat, in a cool dry spot away from sunlight. There is no requirement to change all three together, and a high-yield cartridge stored that way keeps its full rated life for when its turn comes.

Are these genuine Dell cartridges?

They are not. These are compatible cartridges manufactured to the P3HJK, 5PG7P and 3P7C4 specifications for the Dell Color Laser H625cdw, and every one of them carries a one-year warranty with free returns for one year — the details are on our shipping and returns page. Questions are answered Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
