Frequently Asked Questions
This listing says "Premium Quality" and costs the same $94.45 as the standard C3760 set. What is actually different?
On paper, nothing you can measure. Both listings contain the same four extra high yield cartridges — 331-8429 black, 331-8432 cyan, 331-8431 magenta and 331-8430 yellow — at the same ratings and the same $94.45 price, and both carry the identical one-year warranty and one-year free returns. We do not claim a yield, capacity or coverage difference for the word "Premium," so judge this listing by the numbers on the page rather than the label.
Do the page ratings change on the Premium listing?
No. The black 331-8429 is rated at up to 11,000 pages and each color — cyan 331-8432, magenta 331-8431, yellow 331-8430 — at up to 9,000 pages, exactly as on the standard listing. If a listing anywhere promises more pages from the same part numbers at the same price, that claim deserves skepticism.
What does the set work out to per cartridge and per page?
Divided four ways, $94.45 is about $23.61 a cartridge. At the rated yields that is roughly 0.21 cents per black page and about 0.26 cents per color page at standard coverage — the same economics as the standard set, because the cartridges and the price are the same.
Which machines is this Premium set made for?
The same ones as the standard set: Dell C3760, C3760n and C3760dn printers, plus the C3765 and C3765dnf, which use the identical cartridge family. Checking the part number on a cartridge you already run — any of 331-8429, 331-8432, 331-8431 or 331-8430 — is the surest way to confirm a match.
So why do two listings exist at all?
The catalog carries both because customers search both ways — some by the plain product name, some by the Premium Quality name used on the box artwork. Rather than pretend one is an upgrade, we price them identically and state the specifications identically, so whichever page you land on, you are ordering the same four cartridges.
What if we are unhappy with the set after installing it?
You are covered the same way as with the standard listing: a one-year warranty and one-year free returns under the policy on our shipping and returns page. Orders leave from our Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia or California warehouse, and support runs Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
