Frequently Asked Questions

Which magenta cartridge does the M880z+ take?

The CF303A — the same magenta unit across the M880 family. This listing is one cartridge for the M880z+, rated at 32,000 pages and priced at $78.04.

Our z+ runs color for several departments. How do we know magenta is the low one?

The supplies status on the LaserJet M880z platform breaks levels down by channel, and a fleet view shows the same for managers. Magenta typically announces itself in the output first — reds thinning toward orange in shared reports.

Does the plus model's higher duty cycle change cartridge life?

The rating stays 32,000 pages at standard coverage; what changes is how quickly a busy machine gets there. Departments pooling work on one z+ simply arrive at the change sooner — the cartridge is built for exactly that traffic.

Can we swap magenta in the middle of a shared print day?

Yes, and the queue survives it. Jobs hold while the channel is open, calibration runs when the door closes, and printing resumes. Announce the two-minute pause in the team channel and nobody loses work.

Should we keep a spare magenta for a machine this central?

For a printer several departments depend on, a sealed spare is plain prudence. Toner stores without losing capacity, so the spare costs nothing to keep and saves the day it is needed.

What cover and shipping come with this cartridge?

It carries a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns, as explained on our shipping and returns page. We deliver from Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia and California warehouses, and support works Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.

About This HP 827A Magenta Cartridge for the M880z+

Magenta for the M880z+, in the compatible CF303A: 32,000 pages at $78.04, listed in the HP toner cartridges range at Clever Supplies. When a whole building shares one color machine, this is the cartridge that keeps its reds credible. In multi-department service, the fairest signal is the machine's own counter: magenta's start and end readings belong to the building, not to whichever team printed last. This cartridge's long rating keeps those readings far apart, which keeps the conversations about them mercifully rare. Buildings that run their z+ around the clock treat this depth as infrastructure, not inventory.
