Frequently Asked Questions

I bought this for a LaserJet M102w — how do I double-check the code before I open it?

Compare the code on your old cartridge's label with this box: CF217AJ, the Jumbo member of the 17A family specified for the M102w. The match is decided by that code, not the outline.

Why does the Jumbo version make particular sense in a wireless printer?

Wireless printers wander away from desks — onto shelves and into spare rooms, where nobody notices a warning early. A Jumbo fill rated at 2,500 pages stretches the interval between changes, so the printer you forget about stays forgotten longer, in the best way.

What page count should I expect in a home office?

The rating is 2,500 pages under standard test conditions. Home-office work — letters, forms, labels — is mostly light-coverage text, which tracks the rating well. Expect many months of use, ending with lighter pages and a warning.

Print jobs sent over Wi-Fi sometimes pause — is that a toner symptom?

No. Pauses and offline messages are network behaviour; toner problems announce themselves on the paper, as fading or streaks. If pages look perfect, the cartridge is fine whatever the Wi-Fi is doing. When output washes out late in life, rock the cartridge gently and print a test page.

What am I covered by if the cartridge turns out to be faulty?

It carries a 1-year warranty, and our 1-year free returns policy means a defective cartridge is replaced or refunded. Parcels ship from warehouses in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia and California, and support is available Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.

Is fitting it any different because the printer is a wireless model?

The wireless hardware changes nothing: lift the old cartridge out by its handle, seat this one until it clicks, close up. No pairing or app steps follow — the printer resumes its queue reading from a Jumbo fill.

About This CF217AJ Jumbo Cartridge for the LaserJet M102w

This compatible CF217AJ (17A-Jumbo) black cartridge, priced at $32.65, is the long-life supply for the HP LaserJet M102w — the wireless desktop LaserJet that ends up wherever a printer is needed and a cable is not. Rated at 2,500 pages, it installs in the same one-minute, tool-free swap as every cartridge in this family.

The pairing suits how the M102w is used: placed once, connected once, then expected to simply be there — for household forms, invoices, the occasional boarding pass at an inconvenient hour. A Jumbo keeps supply errands as rare as the printer's own interruptions.
