Frequently Asked Questions

The title says "Cartridges" — how many are actually in the box?

One. This listing ships a single 106R01160 cyan cartridge; the plural wording is catalog style carried across the 7760 listings, and a genuine multipack would announce its count in the name. One cartridge is no small supply, though — it is rated for up to 25,000 pages before the next swap.

What is this cartridge's job inside the 7760?

Cyan is the blue-and-green builder of the four process colors. In photographs it carries skies and water; in business graphics it carries the blue series of every chart. On the tabloid-format 7760 it is the layer that decides whether a big color sheet looks photographic or flat.

Which models does this listing cover?

It is named for the base Phaser 7760, and the same cartridge serves the Phaser 7760DN and the Phaser 7760DX, along with the GX, YDN, YDX and YGX variants. One cyan, shared across the whole family.

What does the cyan add to the cost of a printed page?

At $47.77 against a 25,000-page rating, roughly 0.19 cents per page at standard coverage. Even on rich color work, where real consumption runs heavier than the standard the rating assumes, the cyan share of each sheet stays in fractions of a cent.

What changes on the page as this cartridge nears its end?

Blue areas thin out first. Skies go pale, deep blues drift toward purple because the magenta underneath is no longer balanced, and foliage takes a yellow-green cast. Solid blue patches may show streaks before the machine ever posts a low-toner warning, so the output itself is the earliest gauge.

How are you covered if the cartridge disappoints?

Every cartridge carries a 1-year warranty, with free returns running a full year — the details live on the shipping & returns page. We dispatch from IL, PA, GA and CA warehouses, staff support Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, and collect the family's other supplies on the Xerox supplies page.
