Frequently Asked Questions

The listing title says "Toner Cartridges" — am I ordering more than one?

No — one cartridge arrives. The plural wording in the title is a catalogue habit, not a bundle: this listing is a single compatible magenta cartridge, the 106R01595, priced at $31.95 and rated at up to 2,500 pages. If your printer is only calling for magenta, a single cartridge is the complete fix.

Why has the red in our letterhead started printing orange?

Red is not a cartridge color — the printer builds it on the page by laying magenta over yellow. When the magenta cartridge fades, the yellow wins and reds drift through brick and rust into plain orange. A logo that no longer matches the company's red is one of the clearest end-of-life signals this supply gives.

Does it make sense to replace just the magenta on a Phaser 6500?

It is the normal way to run this machine. The four supplies empty independently, each at a pace set by what you print, so swapping only the spent color avoids parking fresh cartridges in a drawer and keeps each intervention to a single $31.95 cartridge instead of a full set.

How long might 2,500 magenta pages last our office?

The rating assumes 5% of each page is covered. A practice printing letters, invoices and the odd chart leans lightly on magenta and can stretch a cartridge across many months; a office turning out full-color brochures spends the same cartridge in a fraction of that time. Your coverage, not the calendar, decides.

Is this listing only for the base Phaser 6500?

The Phaser 6500 headlines the listing, but the same 106R01595 magenta is shared across the family: the Phaser 6500N, the 6500DN and the WorkCentre 6505 range all draw from this identical supply.

What if the replacement does not bring the red back?

The cartridge is covered by a 1-year warranty with free returns for a full year, set out on our shipping and returns page. Parcels ship from Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia or California, and help is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
