Frequently Asked Questions

Why do offices buy this cartridge three at a time?

Because black is the cartridge a Phaser 6280 burns through first, and a three pack turns toner into a quarterly decision instead of a recurring interruption. At $267.82, the office takes three compatible 106R01395 cartridges in one order and stops thinking about black toner until the third one is in the machine.

What is the combined yield of the three cartridges?

Up to 24,000 pages in total — each 106R01395 is rated at up to 8,000 pages at the usual 5% coverage basis. Coverage is what moves the real number: a printer living on dense reports will land lower, one printing light correspondence can land higher.

How does the price break down cartridge by cartridge?

Three cartridges at $267.82 is $89.27 per cartridge, and across the pack's rated output the toner cost comes to about 1.12 cents a page. The per-cartridge price steps down as the pack size steps up; three is the middle rung of that ladder.

Do the three cartridges go into the printer together?

No. The 6280 family has a single black slot, so the cartridges are consumed in sequence: one installed, two in reserve. Each spare stays sealed in its own packaging until its turn comes, which keeps the toner fresh and the swap simple.

Which machines take these cartridges?

The Phaser 6280, the Phaser 6280DN and the 6280N — one cartridge design, the 106R01395, serves the black position in all of them.

What warranty and returns cover the pack?

Every cartridge in the pack is covered by a one-year warranty and a year of free returns, with the full terms on the shipping and returns page. Orders leave from IL, PA, GA and CA warehouses, support is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM–5 PM CST, and more supplies for the family live on the Xerox toner page.
