Frequently Asked Questions
Five black cartridges at once — who buys in this quantity?
Two kinds of users: a single 6128MFP working genuinely hard, where black is a monthly consumable, and small offices running more than one of these machines. Because the Phaser 6128MFP and the 6128MFP/N share this one black cartridge, a single shelf of spares can feed a mixed little fleet of them — five is a stockroom quantity, not an indulgence.
What does the 5 pack bring the per-page cost down to?
The pack is $117.37, which is $23.47 per cartridge against $38.26 for a single — a saving of $73.93 across the five. Rated at up to 15,500 pages in total, the pack prints at roughly 0.76 cents per page, the lowest rate this cartridge is sold at: the same toner, bought the efficient way.
Is anything different about the cartridges in this pack?
Nothing. Each of the five is the standard Xerox 106R01455 black cartridge, rated up to 3,100 pages, for the Phaser 6128MFP and 6128MFP/N. The colors in these machines are separate cartridges with their own part numbers and listings; this pack is black only, five deep.
How should a stock of five be stored and rotated?
Boxes sealed, stored flat in a cool, dry place out of direct light — a supply shelf or cupboard, not a garage. Work through them in arrival order so no cartridge sits for years, and treat the shelf as the gauge: when two remain, that is the moment to think about the next order, calmly and ahead of need.
How long does 15,500 pages of black realistically last?
At five hundred pages a month, over two and a half years; at two thousand a month across a small fleet, the better part of a year. Heavy coverage pages — dense forms, bold graphics — shorten each cartridge's run, while plain text stretches it. Either way, buying at this depth turns toner into a background detail instead of a recurring errand.
What warranty, returns and delivery apply?
Every cartridge in the pack carries a one-year warranty and free returns for a year; the full terms are on the shipping and returns page. Orders leave from our IL, PA, GA and CA warehouses, and support runs Monday to Friday, 9 AM–5 PM CST. The rest of the range for this machine is on the Xerox toner page.
