Frequently Asked Questions

Who is a 3 pack of black toner the right size for?

An office that replaces this cartridge roughly every couple of months. Three cartridges is about a quarter-to-half-year of black for a busy single machine: one installed, two in reserve. It smooths ordering into a routine instead of a reaction, without tying up the cash or cupboard space of a full case.

How does the math on three work out?

The pack is $77.82 — $25.94 per cartridge, against $38.26 each bought singly, so the three save $36.96 over separate purchases. Together they are rated at up to 9,300 pages, which puts the cost at roughly 0.84 cents per page, a clear step down from the single's 1.23 cents.

Is the toner in the pack identical to the single cartridge?

Identical. Every cartridge here is the same Xerox 106R01455 black, rated up to 3,100 pages, made for the Phaser 6128MFP and the networked 6128MFP/N. Only the quantity and the per-cartridge price change between listings — never the cartridge itself.

How do I keep three cartridges in good order?

Use them in the order they arrived: oldest stock first, spares kept sealed in their boxes in a cool, dry cupboard away from sunlight. A small label with the arrival date on each box makes the rotation foolproof, and the count on the shelf doubles as your reorder signal — when it drops to one, order the next pack.

How long might 9,300 pages last?

At a thousand pages a month — a lively small-office pace — the pack covers the better part of a year of black printing and copying. Lighter desks will stretch it further; a shared machine on a busy floor will work through it faster. Either way, the horizon is long enough that toner stops being a weekly thought.

What cover and shipping come with the 3 pack?

All three cartridges are backed by a one-year warranty with free returns for a year, as set out on the shipping and returns page. Stock ships from our IL, PA, GA and CA warehouses, and support is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM–5 PM CST. More for this platform lives on the Xerox toner page.
