Frequently Asked Questions
At 0.64 cents a page, what does a month of printing actually cost in toner?
Take a workgroup putting 3,000 pages a month through its 3655X: the toner inside those pages costs under twenty dollars a month on this pack's pricing. The box holds up to 24,400 pages for $157.16, so high-volume users are buying their black output at the cheapest rate this cartridge is offered at.
Why does the per-cartridge price fall in the 4 pack?
Because you are committing to volume in a single order. Inside this box each cartridge works out at $39.29 against $53.15 for a single — $55.44 saved across the four — with no change to the cartridge itself: same 6,100-page rating, same part numbers on the label.
The last cartridge in the box might not be fitted for months. Is that a problem?
No. Sealed toner cartridges keep well over that kind of horizon. Store the box flat in a cool, dry cupboard away from sunlight and radiators, open each cartridge only when you are ready to fit it, and the fourth will perform like the first.
Our 3655X copies as much as it prints. Does that change the maths?
It changes the consumption, not the rate. Copies and printed pages both come out of the same black cartridge — only scanning is toner-free — so a copy-heavy office will move through the 24,400 pages faster, but each page still costs the same 0.64 cents in toner.
Which models does this pack serve?
The WorkCentre 3655X named here and the WorkCentre 3655, which share this black supply. The cartridges carry the part numbers 106R02736 and 106R02737 as the listing presents them.
What warranty and returns terms apply?
A one-year warranty covers each cartridge, and returns are free for a full year — the complete terms are on the shipping and returns page. Orders leave warehouses in IL, PA, GA and CA, support runs Monday to Friday, 9 AM–5 PM CST, and the rest of the Xerox range is on the Xerox toner page.
