Frequently Asked Questions
Is three cartridges a sensible amount of stock for one machine?
Divide the pack by your own monthly volume and the answer shows itself. Three 108R795 cartridges carry up to 30,000 pages between them: a department putting 3,000 pages a month through its machine is looking at the better part of a year of cover, while a light user printing a few hundred pages a month would be stocking for years — in which case a smaller pack is the honest buy. Three is a rhythm purchase: it suits steady, predictable throughput.
What does the three-pack work out to per cartridge?
The pack is $256.77, which divides to $85.59 per cartridge — against $97.91 for the single, that is $36.96 saved across the three. The per-page figure lands at about 0.86 cents on the combined 30,000-page rating. You are paying less per cartridge for the commitment of holding two spares, which is the entire logic of the pack; the numbers are here so you can test that logic against your own usage.
With three boxes on the shelf, which one gets opened first?
The oldest. Write the delivery month on each box when the pack arrives and work through them in that order — first in, first out. Toner stores well, but rotation keeps any one cartridge from sitting for years and makes stock checks a glance instead of an investigation. It also means a problem cartridge, if one ever appears, is found while the paperwork is still recent.
The machine copies all day but rarely prints — does that change anything?
Only the speed of consumption, not the cartridge. A copied page lays down toner exactly as a printed page does, so a copy-heavy office spends a 108R795 faster than the page counts on print jobs alone would suggest. Scanning spends nothing at all. When you estimate how long three cartridges will last, count copies in with prints or the stock will vanish sooner than the plan said.
What if our print volume drops after we have stocked up?
Then the shelf simply lasts longer. Sealed cartridges kept flat and away from heat do not deteriorate on any timescale that matters to an office, so a quiet quarter is an inconvenience to the plan, not a loss. The stock also gives you a buffer against the busy spell that usually follows the quiet one — school terms, financial year-ends and open enrolments have a way of arriving together.
What warranty and delivery terms apply to the pack?
Every cartridge in the pack carries a 1-year warranty and returns stay free for a full year — the full text is on our shipping and returns page. Orders leave from warehouses in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia or California, whichever serves you fastest, and support runs Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
