Frequently Asked Questions

Is a 3-pack too much stock for my office?

Divide your monthly printing by the cartridge rating and the answer falls out. Each 106R03624 is rated at up to 15,000 pages, so the three in this pack cover up to 45,000 pages. An office printing 5,000 pages a month is looking at around nine months of cover — sensible. An office printing 500 pages a month would be storing cartridges for years — in that case the honest advice is to buy the single and reorder as you go.

What does each cartridge cost inside this pack?

The pack is $94.42, which is $31.47 per cartridge against $43.80 for a single — a saving of $36.98 across the three, and a running cost of about 0.21 cents per page over the combined 45,000-page rating. Nothing about the cartridges changes between pack sizes; the 106R03624 in a 3-pack is the same unit as in a single box.

How do I rotate three cartridges so none sits forgotten?

Write the delivery month on each box when the pack arrives, shelve them oldest in front, and always take from the front. That first-in, first-out habit means no cartridge spends years at the back of the cupboard while newer stock gets used ahead of it. Keep the boxes sealed until the day each one is fitted.

Forty-five thousand pages — what does that look like in paper?

About ninety reams. Framed that way, the pack is a stocking decision about paper flow as much as toner: if your office would not blink at ninety reams across three quarters, three cartridges is a matching commitment. If ninety reams sounds like several years of printing, this pack is bigger than your workload and a smaller one serves you better.

Where should the stock live until it is used?

Somewhere dry, shaded and at room temperature, boxes flat and seals intact. A supply cupboard near the printer beats a damp storeroom or a shelf above a radiator. Toner keeps well under ordinary office conditions; it is heat and moisture that shorten a stored cartridge's life, and neither is hard to avoid.

Does the cover still apply to a cartridge fitted months after delivery?

The pack is backed by a 1-year warranty and free returns for a full year; the terms are set out on our shipping and returns page. Because a 3-pack is held longer than a single, ordering from a supplier whose returns window is measured in years rather than weeks matters. Orders leave warehouses in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia or California, with support Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
