Frequently Asked Questions

What does the second cartridge in this 2-pack actually buy me?

Continuity. A toner cartridge never runs out at a convenient moment — it fades in the middle of the run you needed an hour ago. With this 2-pack, the spare 106R03624 is already on your shelf when that happens: swap it in, and the reordering conversation moves from emergency to routine. The working cartridge and its replacement are identical units, each rated at up to 15,000 pages.

How does the maths compare with buying two singles?

Two cartridges bought one at a time would cost $87.60 at the $43.80 single price. This pack is $69.12, so each cartridge works out at $34.56 and you keep $18.48. Across the pair's combined rating of up to 30,000 pages, the cost lands at about 0.23 cents per page — the saving comes purely from taking the two together.

Thirty thousand pages sounds like a lot — how long might the pair last?

It depends entirely on the machine's workload. A department printing around 150 pages a day would take the better part of a year to work through both cartridges; a light-use office might not open the second box for many months. The rating assumes the standard 5% coverage of a text page, and graphics-heavy work spends it faster, so treat the figure as a planning guide.

When the first cartridge goes in, when should I reorder?

The moment you fit the spare, your shelf is empty — that is the reorder trigger. Fit the second 106R03624, place the next order the same week, and the machine never waits on a delivery. Offices that reorder on the warning light instead end up watching a courier tracking page while the printer sits idle.

How should the spare be stored until it is needed?

Keep it sealed in its box, flat, somewhere dry and out of direct sunlight, at ordinary room temperature. Toner powder is stable in storage, and a sealed cartridge waits patiently — the enemies are heat, humidity and a torn seal, not time. Storing it beside the machine rather than in a distant stockroom also means whoever changes it can find it.

Are both cartridges covered if one turns out faulty?

Yes. Each cartridge carries a 1-year warranty and returns are free for a full year, with the details on our shipping and returns page. Orders ship from warehouses in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia or California, and the support desk is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
