Frequently Asked Questions

Who honestly gets through five 25,000-page cartridges?

A genuinely busy floor — that is the honest test. Five SCX-D6555A cartridges are 125,000 rated pages, which suits an SCX-6545N serving a whole department's printing and copying, or several machines sharing one stock cupboard. If your machine spends fewer than about 4,000 pages a month, a smaller pack will serve you just as well and tie up less cash; the five-pack earns its place on volume, not on habit.

What does each cartridge work out at in this pack?

$79.10. The five-pack is $395.49 against $469.45 for five singles, a saving of $73.96, and the per-page cost settles at about 0.32 cents. Spread across 125,000 pages, that per-page edge is worth more than the headline saving suggests — it is the rate your department effectively pays for every sheet it prints or copies while the pack lasts.

How long will this pack keep our machine supplied?

Divide 125,000 by your monthly total. At 5,000 pages a month it is roughly two years of cover; at 10,000 a month, about a year. Remember the counter that matters includes copies — walk-up copying on a department machine is easy to forget and can be a third or more of the true total. Scans, by contrast, draw nothing from these cartridges at all.

Is every cartridge in the box the supply our SCX-6545N asks for?

Yes — five SCX-D6555A cartridges, the code the SCX-6545N carries on its own cartridge label, in compatible form. One code, one machine, no sorting or partial matches inside the box: whichever cartridge you pick up next is the right one.

One honest caution before buying five at once?

The warranty year runs from purchase, not from the day each cartridge is fitted. A high-volume floor will spend all five well inside that year, but a slower office might still be holding cartridge four when the year turns. Buy the pack size your page counter justifies — the per-cartridge saving is real, but cover you never use is not a saving at all.

What warranty and returns apply to the five-pack?

Every cartridge is protected by a one-year warranty against defects, and returns are free of charge throughout the first year — the full terms are published on our shipping and returns page. The pack ships in one delivery from the nearest of our IL, PA, GA and CA warehouses, and it forms part of our complete Samsung toner cartridge catalogue. Support runs Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
