Frequently Asked Questions

Why is two the natural quantity to reorder for this cartridge?

Because the SCX-D6555A's long life works against you at changeover: a 25,000-page cartridge runs for months, so nobody watches it closely, and the day it fades is always a busy one. A two-pack puts one cartridge in the machine and its replacement already on the shelf — the reorder conversation happens at fitting time, calmly, instead of at failure time, urgently.

What does each cartridge in this two-pack effectively cost?

The pair is $169.29, which is $84.65 a cartridge against $93.89 bought singly — $18.49 kept across the two. Per page the figure improves from about 0.38 cents to about 0.34 cents, and across the pack's combined 50,000 rated pages that small gap is real money on a department budget.

How much supply does this pack put on the shelf in total?

50,000 pages: two SCX-D6555A cartridges at 25,000 pages each. For an SCX-6545N averaging 2,500 pages a month in prints and copies combined, that is close to twenty months of cover in a single delivery — long enough that toner drops off the monthly purchasing list entirely.

Which machine is this pack for?

The Samsung SCX-6545N department multifunction printer. Each cartridge in the box is the SCX-D6555A supply that machine asks for by name on its cartridge label; if the unit you remove carries that code, this pack is its direct compatible replacement, twice over.

How should the second cartridge be stored while the first works?

Sealed in its box, flat, in a dry cupboard away from heat and direct light. Toner cartridges do not spoil on a calendar, so the spare loses nothing by waiting — the only discipline needed is first in, first out: when the machine empties, fit the shelf cartridge and let the next order become the new spare.

What cover applies to a two-pack purchase?

Each cartridge carries its own one-year warranty against defects, and the purchase can be returned free of charge within the first year — the full wording is on our shipping and returns page. The pack ships as one delivery from the nearest of our IL, PA, GA and CA warehouses, and support is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
